1/26/2022 1 Comment January 26th, 2022After the Nazis and Soviets invaded Poland, in September 1939, a revolutionary committee in the border village of Kołki, who welcomed the invading Soviets, stepped forward and ordered that the ethnic Catholic Poles surrender their weapons. After refusing, several were executed, including Seminarian Wladyslaw Burzynski and his blood brother, Miechyslav, on September 18, 1939.
