7/7/2018 0 Comments July 07th, 2018After invading Poland, on September 1, 1939, the German Socialists launched the Intelligenzaktion, the Intelligence Action: a planned genocidal program of extermination that targeted Polish intellectuals, which included countless Catholics and about 90 percent of the priests in the Poland areas grabbed by the Third Reich.
The German Socialist Geheime Staatspolizei, the Secret State Police, the GeStaPo, arrested Father Narcyz Putz, on November 9, 1939, in Poznań, as part of the genocidal extermination operation. Shipped to Dachau extermination camp, then Mauthausen–Gusen, where he slaved in the quarries, he was transferred back to Dachau, where he perished from starvation, exhaustion and exposure, on December 5, 1942.
