7/29/2018 0 Comments July 29th, 2018After the German Socialists and the Soviet Communists invaded Poland, in September 1939, the family of Father Władysław Maćkowiak was shipped to Siberia.
After the German Socialists attacked the Soviets, on June 22, 1941, the Gestapo arrested Father Maćkowiak, accused of appealing to parishioners to help Jews. Tortured and shipped to Berezwecz prison, he was executed in the Borek Forest, on March 4, 1942. Father Maćkowiak's last words were: "Long live Christ the King!" VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!
