3/25/2018 0 Comments March 25th, 2018Father Hieronim Gintrowski was arrested by the Gestapo, on September 15, 1939, two weeks after German Nazi soldiers invaded Poland, on September 1, 1939.
Because he was a Catholic priest, he was tortured by the goons of the National Socialist German Workers' Party for two months while imprisoned in the basement of a military barracks camp in Bydgoszcz. Father Gintrowski was killed, on November 1, 1939, when he was taken with a group of other priests, "political" prisoners, to the Gdańsk Forest, near Bydgoszcz. VIVA CRISTO REY!
