10/4/2019 1 Comment October 04th, 2019    After looking after the poor and helping to save Jews, Sister Izabela (born Zofia Maria Łuszczkiewicz) was arrested by the Soviet Socialists, tortured, sentenced to death and languished as she developed tuberculosis of the leg and malignant jaw cancer where her teeth had been smashed by the Communists during interrogation. She perished August 8, 1957.
