8/15/2023 0 Comments August 15th, 2023Arrested by German Socialists (Nazis), Father Piotr Zakryś and 29 fellow priests were taken to the Szpęgawski Forest where they were ordered into a death pit, four at a time. The first had to lie down with their hands on their foreheads or on the ground. The next were forced to lie down on the bloodied bodies of their confreres. Each shot in the back of the neck at the base of the head, October 16, 1939.

8/15/2023 0 Comments August 15th, 2023Mexican soldiers flayed the skin from the soles of Jose Luis Sanchez del Rio’s feet, while he shouted “Viva Cristo Rey!” Forced to walk barefoot to the cemetery, the 14-year-old Cristero was sliced with a machete, as the Federales for the Socialist regime said, “If you shout ‘Death to Christ the King,’ we will spare your life,” to which he responded, “I will never give in. Viva Cristo Rey! Viva la Virgen de Guadalupe!” At the cemetery, before a freshly dug grave, soldiers stabbed him with bayonets. After each stab, he shouted, “Viva Cristo Rey!” before he was shot in the head and then fell in the open grave, February 10, 1928. 8/13/2023 0 Comments August 13th, 2023Arrested by German Socialists, Father Stanisław Zaborowicz was tortured in an effort to extract information from him about the fine art - including a Peter Paul Rubens - that he had hidden. He revealed nothing. Eventually shipped to Sterling prison in Łódź, he was murdered, March 20, 1942, with about 100 ethnic Poles, in one of the largest public executions in then-called Warthegau.

8/8/2023 0 Comments August 08th, 2023Norbertine Father Zygmunt (born Henryk Zabiehrycki) and 10 of his confreres from the monastery were arrested by German Socialists. Shipped to Auschwitz, Father Zygmunt was executed by lethal injection, on January 20, 1943.
8/8/2023 0 Comments August 08th, 2023Father David Uribe Velasco was executed, on April 12, 1927, shot in the back of the head for offering the Sacraments, which had been outlawed by the Socialist Mexican regime during the Catholic persecution against priests and faithful.

Father Edmund Leopold Ząbek was shipped to Stutthof concentration camp. From there, he was transported to Piaśnica execution site and executed, November 11, 1939. 8/7/2023 0 Comments August 07th, 2023Arrested and jailed for taking Viaticum to a bedridden parishioner, Father Mateo Correa Magallanes was ordered to Confess some prisoners, and then reveal to the Socialist authorities what had been confessed, or he would be killed.
"You can do it, but do not ignore that a priest must keep the secret of the confession. I am ready to die.” Continuing to refuse to break the seal of Confession, he was escorted to the cemetery in the outskirts of Durango and shot through the head, at dawn on February 6, 1927. 8/6/2023 0 Comments August 06th, 2023Arrested by German Socialists for remaining faithful to the Pope and the Church, Father Stanisław Witold Zuske was shipped to Dachau, where he was tortured during inhuman medical experiments until he was transported to Hartheim Euthanasia Center, where he was executed in the gas chamber, August 12, 1942.

Led to an oak tree, he forgave the men for what they were about to do, took the noose into his own hands, said, "Don't dirty your hands," to the man who brought it, kissed it, and placed it around his own neck, June 26, 1927. 8/4/2023 0 Comments August 04th, 2023Arrested by German Socialists, because he was a Catholic priest, Father Wacław Żuchowski was shipped to Stutthof camp and then Sachsenhausen, where he was continuously tortured until he was murdered by the toilets, May 13, 1940.

Days after the defeat of the federal soldiers, General Joaquin “The Indian” Amaro Dominguez marched his troops into San Julian, arrested Father Julio Alvarez Mendoza and executed him on March 30, 1927. 8/1/2023 0 Comments August 01st, 2023Today is the 79th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, when the Polish underground fought to liberate the city from its occupiers: German Socialists.
It was led by the Polish resistance Home Army, from August 1, to October 2, 1944, during World War II. "Here I am, but do not kill me," he said. One soldier fired, and the priest rose from his bed and took a few steps until a second bullet caused him to fall into the arms of his sister, who cried out, "Courage, Padre Toribio...merciful Christ, receive him!
