German Socialist Gestapo stormed the Theological Seminary, in Włocławek, and arrested everyone, inlcuding Seminarian Tadeusz Dulny, on October 7, 1939, one month after the invasion of Poland.
Shipped to a college-turned-prison, in Lad, professors secretly resumed classes and Seminarian Tadeusz Dulny completed his fifth-year studies.
In the summer of 1940, professors and seminarians were transferred to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, which had been the site of the 1936 Olympic Village.
From there, Seminarian Tadeusz Dulny was transported to Dachau, where he died from starvation, exhaustion and exposure, on August 7, 1942.
