4/24/2018 0 Comments April 24th, 2018Father Franciszek Borgiasz Kilian was arrested, on May 16, 1941, by the Socialist Germans during a massive sweep of Catholics, including those in the Higher Theological seminary in Ołtarzew, where he was a professor of biblical studies, Hebrew language, speculative philosophy and ethics.
First imprisoned in Pawiak, in Warsaw, he was shipped to Auschwitz extermination camp, on May 28, 1941, where he received the number 16711. Beaten, tortured and kicked in the abdomen by a kapo, he was sentenced to death by starvation in Barrack 13, the Death Barrack, where he died November 10, 1941. VIVA CRISTO REY!
