When the bullet did not kill him, the Gestapo brutally beat him with rifle butts, knocking out his eyes, smashing his eyeglasses into his face, breaking his nose, his jaw and his collar bone, after which he perished. VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!

to his brother Bolesław Prabucki, who was headed to the gas chamber in Hartheim Euthanasia Center, on August 12, 1942. A third brother, also a priest, Father Alojzy Prabucki had perished weeks earlier, on July 17, 1942, after the Prabucki brothers had been arrested by the German Socialist Gestapo and shipped to Dachau death camp. Father Paweł Prabucki soon followed his two brothers, when he perished from starvation, exhaustion and exposure, on August 30, 1942. VIVA CRISTO REY! Ferociously tortured, he perished, on March 11, 1945, shortly before the camp was liberated, on April 11, 1945, by four soldiers in the 6th Armored Division, commanded by General George S. Patton, who called it one of the two best divisions in his United States Third Army. Brother Paweł Krawczewicz was cremated in one of the death camp's ovens. VIVA CRISTO REY! Shipped to Dachau death camp and then transferred to Gusen, he was tortured -- dragged out of the barracks, drenched in cold water, and left outside, where he froze to death, on December 30, 1940.

Arrested by the German Socialist Gestapo during a round-up of Catholic Polish intellectuals, Vincentian Father Norbert Kompalla -- professor of moral theology, canon law, history of the Church and patrology -- was shipped to Dachau death camp, where he was gassed to death, on December 1, 1942, at Hartheim Euthanasia Center.
