8/1/2018 0 Comments August 01st, 2018After the German Socialists invaded Poland, on September 1, 1939, and the Soviet Communists invaded Poland, on September 17, 1939, the Catholic Church was forced underground.
Gestapo arrested Michał Pasławski, the manager of a Catholic printing house, but Father Wojciech "Adalbert" Nierychlewski pleaded with the German State Secret Police that they release the man, a husband and father, in exchange for his own arrest. The Gestapo agreed and arrested Father Adalbert. Shipped to Auschwitz, the priest of the Congregation of Saint Michael the Archangel, perished from exhaustion, starvation and exposure, on February 7, 1942. VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!
