8/6/2018 0 Comments August 06th, 2018Because of his pro-patriotic sermons, Father Zygmunt Sajna was placed under house arrest by the Gestapo of the German Socialists, the invaders of Poland.
Still in his priestly cassock, with breviary and rosary, he was targeted, beaten and tortured. His front teeth were all smashed out. On the morning of September 17, 1940, when he was removed from his cell, he gave his cellmates absolution, for which he was whipped by the guards. Driven to the forests of Palmiry, Father Sajna was shot to death, in a mass execution. VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!
