8/25/2018 0 Comments August 25th, 2018The German Socialist invaders accused Edward Klinik of treason, because of his membership in the Salesian Oratory of Saint John Bosco, in Poznań.
As one in a small group of leaders of Poznań's Catholic youth, Edward was condemned to be executed by guillotine, in a Dresden prison, at Münchner Platz 3, with his fellow youth leaders, on August 24, 1942. Shortly before undergoing their beheadings, the young men sang together a religious hymn in their own Polish language, and then bravely walked to their deaths, one by one. VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!
