8/30/2019 0 Comments August 30th, 2019Days after the German Socialists invaded Poland, Gestapo arrested Father Stanisław Kubski, who was led out of the city with his arms raised above his head. Tortured, he was forced to spend his first night kneeling. Shipped to Buchenwald, he suffered torture and slaved in the quarries for two years. Exhausted and suffering from an unattended broken arm, he was transferred to Dachau, where he maintained a tranquil nature, praying the rosary, a piece of string with knots. Elderly, suffering from scabies and weighing only 85 pounds, he was sent to the Hartheim Euthansia Center, where he was gassed to death, May 18, 1942.
