12/20/2018 0 Comments December 20th, 2018Because he was deputy director of the Philosophy Department of the Society of Jesus in Krakow, Father Stanisław Bednarski was arrested by German Socialist Gestapo during an operation to eliminate Polish Catholic intellectuals.
At Dachau death camp, he suffered torture, on Good Friday, April 3, 1942. With his hands tied behind his back, a chain was slipped through an iron circle on the ceiling, and he was pulled several centimeters off the ground. He perished, July 16, 1942, from starvation, exhaustion and torture. VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!
