German Socialists arrested Father Stanisław Pyrtek, on December 4, 1941, charging him with a negative attitude toward the authorities and maintaining a secret school (a catechism class).
Imprisoned, Father Pyrtek endured torture and was beaten unconscious. On March 4, 1942, he was taken to the Borek Forest, where he was executed with seven other enemies of The Reich.
"Long live Christ the King!!" were Father Pyrtek's last words.
VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!
