German Socialist Gestapo arrested Father Henryk Kaczorowski, on November 7, 1939, along with 9 professors and 22 seminarians from the Theological Seminary in Włocławek.
Moved from prison to prison, he was beaten and tortured by sadistic German Socialist guards.
Shipped to Dachau extermination camp, on April 25, 1941, he received Number 24547. Exhausted, starved and no longer able to labor, he was to be shipped to Hartheim Euthanasia Center.
"Stay with God," were the parting words of the priest over the shrill whistle of a camp guard.
Father Kaczorowski was gassed to death, on May 6, 1942.
