Father Kowalski was transferred, on June 26, 1941, to Auschwitz extermination camp, where he was renamed Prisoner number 17,350. Because he was a priest, he was beaten by the guards, on July 3, 1942, and later that night, guards dragged him out of his cellblock to continue the beating. Father Kowalski's body was found the next day and burned. VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!
