After the invasion of Poland, Brother Wojciech Marian (born Piotr Trocha) volunteered to accompany his pupils to Neu-Dresden after the German Socialists robbed 60% of movable property and 80% of goods from the Assembly of Craft Schools. After separated from his students, he returned to Częstochowa, after which he was arrested, shipped to Lublin and killed, March 31, 1943, when he stood up for a tortured prisoner.
