3/27/2018 0 Comments March 27th, 2018National Socialist henchmen, the Gestapo, entered the Capuchin monastery in Warsaw and interrogated Father Wojciech "Anicet" Koplinski, in June 1940, less than a year after Hitler invaded Poland.
A year later, the Gestapo surrounded the monastery and arrested all 22 monks, in the dark of night, on July 27, 1941. In a cattle car, Father Anicet was transported with the other monks to the Auschwitz extermination camp, on September 4, 1941, where he became Number 20,376. Father Anicet died sometime the following month, October 1941, faithful to Christ and to Pope. VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!
