5/10/2018 0 Comments May 10th, 2018Father Kazimierz Gostyński offered Mass, in Lublin, Poland, celebrating Independence Day, defying orders of the Socialist German occupiers.
Gestapo, the Secret Police, arrested Father Gostyński, on January 11, 1940, detained and tortured him in Lublin Castle's dungeon for six months, shipped him to Sachsenhausen and then to Dachau, on December 14, 1940, where he received Number 22414. Tortured, forced to labor, starved, exhausted, physically weak, he was placed in the Transport of the Invalids to Hartheim Euthanasia Center, where, at the end of the ride, he was gassed to death in the transport van, on May 6, 1942.
