Caught up in the German Socialist's extermination of Catholic Polish intellectuals, Brother Jan Ossowski (bookbinder for the Missionaries of the Holy Family) was arrested by Gestapo and held in his Górka Klasztorna monastery, turned into a concentration camp. From there, he was executed, November 12, 1939, in Paterek, where hundreds of executions took place in the first two months of World War II. VIVA CRISTO REY! Niech żyje Chrystus Król!
