Because he was a Catholic priest, Father Wacław Nejmak was arrested by German Socialist Gestapo. During his transportation, on November 2, 1942 to the Koldyczewo concentration camp, he was gassed to death, with at least six other priests, in a car transformed into a gas chamber, in the Lachówka Forest.
