Accused by the Soviet Socialists of collaborating with counterrevolutionaries in the Polish consulate in Kiev, Father Józef Żmigrodzki was shipped to Yaroslav Prison, then KemLag concentration camp, and finally to the SLON concentration camp on Solovetsky Islands where he perished, on June 14, 1934.
