9/15/2018 0 Comments September 15th, 2018German Socialist Gestapo arrested Seminarian Bernard Jaruszewski, imprisoned him in Bydgoszcz, shipped him to Auschwitz death camp and then Mauthausen-Gusen death camp, where he slaved in the quarries.
Starved and exhausted, he was executed with a phenol injection by camp authorities, on February 11, 1945, shortly before the death camp was liberated, on May 5, 1945, by a platoon of 23 Americans from the 11th Armored Division of the United States Third Army, led by Staff Sergeant Albert J.
