The picture evokes such pity and then anger. The man on the white horse looks so 'hum drum' ... not a bit upset at taking the life of all these holy men. Then look at the peaceful faces of the martyrs. They look calm and don't appear to have suffered the horror they just went through moments ago. They are in heaven. Every one. How often does one ever get to see such a sight as this in their lifetime? It is good for us to see. One wonders who took these pictures, and, why?
